I was following 'the new al-qaeda' program on discovery channel, when I caught the name babar ahmad, who was a very dear brother to me during my student days in Imperial.
This is a very sad unfolding of events, further plunging the once-great Britain to disgrace- all because of Blair's insistence to continue his hang-dog loyalty to Bush, defiling any good he has done during his time as PM.
I pray that Br Babar is given the strength by Allah to overcome this trial, and his family given the strength to continue their struggle. Justice and truth will always prevail, inshaAllah. My doa are with you.

May Allah keep you firm upon Islam and grant you Jannah InshaAllah.
To Br Babar, You are an example and role model for all brothers/sisters facing injustice.
To All, Make dua and remember the other unfortunate bretherin across the world who dont have the voice and support as Br Babar has.

I have just read your article about being imprisoned for 2 years now. MashAllah, they have not broken your spirit or Imaan in 2 years. Your strength is an inspiration to us all. I wish I could say that I cannot believe the injustice perpetrated against you but I can. The new bogeyman is Islam and you embody all that is wrong with this war on Islam.
I pray for you Brother and I will write to my MP and to Blair because I believe this is the best thing we can do for you. If enough people did this and the political nature of your imprisonment was highlighted enough I am sure we could make a difference. Stay strong Brother Inshallah David will be victorious over Goliath again.
Your Brother is Islam
