E Mail to let the Government Know How You Feel About Babar Ahmad
Babar Ahmad is a British citizen who has been detained without trial in the UK for almost 8 years facing extradition to the US for offences allegedly committed in the UK. All the evidence against him was collected in the UK with most of it being sent to the US before the Crown Prosecution Service could decide whether to prosecute him in the UK or not, a fact only admitted by the CPS in November 2011. It is only right that Babar be tried in the UK and not extradited to the US.

Please write to the Director of Public Prosecutions, Keir Starmer, to demand that Babar Ahmad be immediately put on trial in the UK. Copies will also be sent to the Attorney General and the Home Secretary.

We encourage supporters to prepare their own letters using the above points. A sample letter is below for your convenience but a personalised letter always carries more weight.

May Allah give you strength and sustenance against what you face in this dunya. Ameen.

My brother, if there is someone who can come through this test then surely it is you. You are the role model and we have always looked up to you as an older wiser brother. You are an example to the rest of us. InshAllah this is another test from Allah so he can reward you and give you Jannah because Allah tests those who are closer to Him, those that are on the true path, on the path of the Prophet (saw), the path of the Sahabah (rdn) and all those after them.
Remember your Lord (swt) much in this time. Have sabr because this will be your road of Jannah. We will make du'a that Allah (swt) replaces your lonely small cell with garden in Jannatul Firdaus where you are united with your family and loved ones.
Ameen.

There is Facebook group Free Babar Ahmad set up to publicise the plight of Babar, which a lot of people are unaware of in the UK. If you can please join and invite people to join. I know it's not much but every little bit helps Inshallah. Free Babar Ahmad!

Asalaam Alaykum. May Allah prove your innocence very soon and may you be a free person again InshAllah.

Asalaam alaykum. I pray inshallah soon Babar's test will be over. Ameen. If we all read Surah Yusuf and convey this as a hadiya (gift) to Babar Ahmad, InshAllah Allah (swt) will listen to our du'a.

Asalaam alaykum. I can't believe Babar still has not been released. Is there any update on his trial? InshAllah, He (swt) listens to our prayers and Allah (swt) will bring the light and take away this darkness.

Asalaam alaykum. Allah is watching and InshAllah one day you will be free. After all, this life is a test and I pray to Allah that He makes you among those who succeed in the hereafter. Your life in this world may not be brilliant, but as they say, this life for a believer is like prison where you struggle to break free and witness the beauty of Allah (swt) in the next life. May Allah bless you and make you a stronger muslim, Ameen.

Bismillah. Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. Allah (swt) sees all and we all will return to Him and account for our actions. Injustice can not be placed in the shadows. Freedom is only attained through the mercy of Allah. May Allah (swt) be merciful to our brother Babar and his family. Ameen. I support the freedom of Babar Ahmad, all muslims and believers detained and arrested falseley.

Our prayers are with the family of Brother Babar. Keep strong and don't lose hope. It's really disgusting that the very people we trust to maintain safety and security for the citizens of this country will abuse their positions in this way. We should never let them brush this issue or cases similar to this under the carpet. Justice should be done.

Please free Babar Ahmad

Faiza, Dubai Friday 10th August 2007

Asalaam Alaykum. I am always praying for the whole Muslim Ummah and specially for those whose are suffering for crimes they did not commit. This life is a trial and only chosen people have an examination which really tests their emaan. So my brother, be patient and implore the grace of Almighty Allah. May Allah bless you my brother I am always praying for you.

Assalamu Alaykum brother. Sorry about your situation, I'll make du'as for you to be free soon. We don't wish for you to go to the USA, because we don't know if you'll suffer abuses there. Ya Allah! Bless my brother Babar Ahmad in the UK, and free him soon and also bless to his family, and guides them to Jannah and give them enough patience. Ameen. InshaAllah you will be free soon.
Regards, your brother in Islam.

Asalaam alaykum. I just received this in an email and I instantly thought of Babar. I pray Allah returns him to his family soon.

Aslamu Alaikum wrahmutallahi wabarakatuhu. After reading this devastating story of Babar Ahmed, tears run out of my eyes. And Allah (swt) can see everything that is happening to our brother and Insha Allah he will be free one day. Let's all make Dua for our Brother.

Aisha Mohammed, USA Saturday 21st July 2007

Salam to Babar and his family. I met Babar in Woodhill and after speaking to him I immediately felt the greatest sympathy for him and his family. Babar is a strong brother and InshAllah he will make it through this difficult time. His wise words helped me greatly in my time of trouble. I haven't stopped doing du'a for him and his family ever since. At the time I knew him, he had lost his appeal at the High Court and every brother in Woodhill who knew him was greatly saddened. He told us to remember Allah (swt) and we should stay strong. It is upsetting to see how such an honest and humble man can be put through such a devastating ordeal with no evidence. Our prayers are with you and InshAllah you will win your freedom my brother.
